A Lot of DIY

Fucking Zombie DogNice. If you hadn't noticed, Blogger's added a new feature called Photo Blogger. You can upload pics directly to your blog. Bye bye, Photobucket! I don't know if anyone but me fiddles with the HTML of their posts but this text wrapping stuff is a little more advanced than I could do on my own.
I either need to learn to touch up digital pictures, or I just need a new face.

For those of you who don't know what DIY stands for, check it out on Acronymfinder.com; its a good resource.

First off, there's the poor man's RAID array. Acronymfinder actually has the wrong definition of RAID. What they have is the old definition: Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. The Current definition, though, is Redundant Array of Independant Disks. Anyways, I kind of wish I'd found this before I started my NAS server. I don't really have a place for two rackmount cases, though.
InventGeek.com also has a cool hack to build an LCD monitor into a computer case instead of the now cliche (I still want one) window kit.

Holy shit. Ever wish you had your own astromech 'droid around to play kick the can with? Astromech.net has directions to make your own. Be sure to check out the galleries. They look pretty damn impressive.

Water pistols can be fun. Super Soakers are always fun. Building your own behemoth to dump water on your adversaries has to be the most satisfying experience a Summer afternoon can bring you. I know you guys are having waterballoonn fights without me. There's a waterballoon launcher too, but apparently it "shredded" a soda can at fourty yards, so its probably not too safe for interpersonal combat.

Last but far from least: FedExFurniture.com. Furniture made compeletly of FedEx boxes using shipping labels as adhesive. I know Meagan'll love this one. Awhile back when I was sleeping on an air mattress on the floor, I was looking all over the place for good directions to make cardboard furniture. If my next appartment's unfurnished, I'll be paying a visit to the FedEx store. I'm good buddies with the FedEx guy who picks up and delivers to my work so maybe he could hook me up.

EDIT: Holy fuck, that's creepy.

That's a fucking zombie dog. Just read the article. Its good and short. note: that's probably not one of the actual dogs. its probably just some scaryass wolf

I dig it. I really do. The entire thing, not just the cardboard furniture. I do love the way the post is set up, it is very aesthetically pleasing. Gorgeous, just gorgeous, really darling, you must tell me what you have done with the place.
